Ice climbing

Rjukan has the greatest concentration of frozen waterfalls in Europe. Climbers from across the world come every year to climb these unique waterfalls. Over 180 frozen waterfalls along the valley walls are waiting to be explored. Both beginners as well as the most hardened of ice climbers can climb waterfalls in different gradations.

Every last weekend in February Rjukan is host of an Ice Climbing Festival. Will you be there?
