About Rjukan Hytte
Both in the summer and in the winter Rjukan Hytte is the perfect base and starting point for a successful (winter) holiday. For the elderly and young holidaymaker is on and around Rjukan Hytte a lot of things to do and to see. Do you like the quietness and relaxation or do you seek some tension? Rjukan Hytte is a calm and quiet place – and a good starting point to experience the outstanding nature in Rjukan, Tinn and Telemark.
In the summer our campground is an excellent starting point for walks in the National Park “Hardangervidda”, cycling tours, (fly-)fishing and lots more. Winter sports enthusiasts can indulge themselves in the winter… how about for example ice climbing?
The real Norwegian holiday experience
Do you choose a spacious pitch or a “hytte”? Rjukan hytte has several cabins and holiday homes . All build in traditional Telemark style, partly on renovated log houses, which will give you with the real Norwegian holiday feeling. The large campground is surrounded by old stone walls and gives you a panoramic view on mount “Gaustatoppen”.
Quality Facilities
During your stay you can use the modern and comfortable sanitary building with showers, sinks, toilets, washing machine and dryer. The coins for the shower are available for NOK 10,- each.
In the main season there will be several activities for you available. How about for example live music or workshops and much more.
We are running our own environment policy. We are sorting waste, use environment friendly cleaning materials and save energy where possible.
