Heddal Stave Church

The Heddal Stave Church, a masterpiece of Medieval Norwegian architecture from appr. 1200. The Heddal Stave Church is the biggest of the last 28 remaining stave churches. It is less than 1 hour drive from Rjukan Hytte.

A visit to the Heddal Stave Church can be very well combined with a car trip over the Gausta mountain pass.
